Jewelry Materials & Design
Visually, 14K and 18K white gold are identical. The distinction lies in the gold content: 18K contains more pure gold and less alloy. However, unless you have a specific sensitivity to 14K gold or a personal preference for 18K, we generally recommend 14K white gold for its superior durability and value.
Like all metal choices, platinum has its advantages and disadvantages. It is an excellent option for those with skin sensitivities to gold. Platinum naturally maintains its white luster over time and does not require rhodium plating. It also has a substantial, heavier feel. Drawbacks include a higher susceptibility to visible scratching, particularly on solitaire styles, and potential bending in thinner settings.
A two-tone setting features the ring’s head (the top part holding the stone) in one metal color and the shank (the band) in another. For chemical compatibility, 14K gold can only be paired with other 14K metals, and 18K gold with other 18K metals. Platinum can be paired with 18K gold. Typically, we recommend a white metal for the head paired with a rose or yellow gold band. For fancy colored stones, this combination may be reversed to better accentuate the center stone.
Production & Timeline
As each ring is fully custom-made, our standard lead time is 3–5 weeks. We offer 1-week (+$100) and 2-week (+$50) rush options, provided your selected stone is in stock. Please contact our team at xxxxxx before placing your order to confirm if your design is eligible for rush processing.
Given the bespoke nature of each piece, timeframes may vary depending on component availability at the time of order. A detailed schedule will be provided in your order confirmation email within one week of purchase. Generally, stone cutting takes 2–4 weeks, CAD design is completed within 1–3 days, and production requires approximately 2 weeks. These are estimates, but our team will keep you informed throughout the entire process.
Shipping & Delivery
All orders are shipped via FedEx or DHL Priority. For international clients, we use the fastest available FedEx service, with delivery typically between 3–7 business days, depending on destination. To ensure secure delivery, a signature is required for all orders. You may also opt to have your package held at a nearby FedEx location for pickup with a photo ID. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your item ships.
We ship to most countries, barring those with legal restrictions. International shipping is $40, plus any applicable duties or taxes imposed by your country or region. As these fees vary, we recommend checking with your local authorities for exact amounts.
Care & Maintenance
We recommend treating your piece with the same care and attention that went into creating it. As with all fine jewelry, please remove it during physical activities, showering, swimming, cleaning, and sleeping. While water alone does not harm the stones or settings, chemicals from shampoos, pools, and saltwater can gradually affect metal alloys. A good rule of thumb is to follow the “last on, first off” principle—put your jewelry on last in the morning and take it off first when you get home.
Warranty & Returns
All our pieces come with a comprehensive one-year warranty. Repairs needed within the first three months of ownership are complimentary, excluding damage deemed intentional or excessive. The warranty begins on the day the client receives the item and will be voided if the piece is altered or repaired by an external jeweler, as we cannot guarantee the quality of outside workmanship.
Each piece we create is entirely custom-made to your specifications, reflecting your personal preferences in every detail. Therefore, custom items cannot be returned or exchanged. We have a strict approval process for both your stone and CAD design to ensure your satisfaction before production begins. In-stock samples may be returned or exchanged within three days of purchase if unworn, subject to a 20% restocking fee.
